Which Is Better To Use The Credit Card Or The Debit Card?

Credit Cards , you have some protections built into them by the CC Company. Example: You buy something and it is to be delivered to you, but in reality it never shows up, you can contact the CC Co. Make a written dispute about it and in most cases you will get your charge refunded.I have had that happen to me before and got reimbursed the amount. There are other pluses with CC's. Several of them have policies that include things such as; if the merchandise is defective you may be refunded as well. There are others. The best thing to do is contact some of them and ask what they offer as far as assurances.With Debit Cards, you are at the mercy of the bank itself. If you have been with your bank for a long time and usually carry a substantial balances, they MAY refund you the amount, they DO NOT have to do that.  How well or how much do you trust your banker??I don't know, but I would not be surprised that the two previous answers who readily said that debit cards are better were by bank employees.
