Macbeth: What Reward Did Duncan Give Macbeth For His Bravery?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

He gave him the title of Thane of Cawdor. This title had just become vacant as the current Thane of Cawdor was to be executed for treachery. This was a big shock to Macbeth as, just before he received the news about his new title, the witches had prophesied that it would happen. They also prophesied that he would become king.
