    My Irish ancestors belonged to the clan of Suilabahn. Today the clan name would be called Sullivan. A clan is sort of like a tribe, only the members are related.

      On Sunday, we are having the whole clan over to watch the Dallas Cowboy football game.   ( That is using the word clan in it's meaning as members of a family or people connected in some way, such as a group that work together.)
