How Are Your Kids On A Long Ride?

We are usually quite but we start to complain when are legs need to stretch.-Iamlegend

Ours is usually great, unless she eats just before we leave, she tends to get motion sickness then. But she can eat while we are moving, and then she will sleep.

My kids are all grown now, but they were pretty good in the car.  We used to do the long haul from Ohio back to NY to visit relatives a couple of times a year.  But we did most of the ride at night, so they'd sleep.  There were 8 years between them, so there wasn't too much bickering or arguing.  My ex used to give them "the look" and they'd stop.

Pretty good. They are almost 3 and 6 so they do need some entertainment. And I have not broken down and gotten a dvd player/monitor in my car like everyone else in CA seems to have done.

My daughters are 7 yrs. Apart and I really don't have any problems with either of them except fighting over the radio on what song to listen to. Sometimes the younger one falls asleep and the older one likes to read or we talk or listen to music.

My kids are 6 and 10 and they do great. Our family takes a long car trip every year. From experience if you go to the Dollar Store and buy up several little toys, wrap them up and toss them back one every 100 miles or so it makes the a lot more fun for everyone.
