    I Have A Detached Finger Tendon. If It Is Braced Will It Reatach? If Not, What Then?

    Tendons are elastic, like a rubber band. A detached tendon will shorten without its natural anchoring (and can even become adhered to another structure, causing more problems). Bracing is of little to no use.

    The severity of effect will depend on where the tendon is and what it helps to control...you really need to see a hand surgeon.
