How Do I Reset My Password To Play A DVD On My Ps2 Slim Line?

Try pushing Play and ^ at the same time for 30 sec.

1. Insert DVD into Playstation 2 (or, go into the DVD setup menu and go to "Parental Controls" under "Custom Setup").
   2. When the "Enter Password" screen appears, press the select button
   3. Enter 7444 as the password to reset (7444 is the default by Sony)
   4. Next, enter a new password
   5. Confirm new password
   6. The level adjustemn under Parental Control indicates the strictness of the player... Lowering the value to it's lowest setting, or set it to "off" altogether.
   7. Once you're done, make sure that the DVD tray is empty and press the Reset button on the front of the PS2.  The tray's gotta be empty for it to save the settings.


Some of the wordings or whatever might be slightly different on your slim-line vs my 1st Gen PS2 :) but the general principle is the same.
