    My friend loopilulu,
    I will try to answer this as best i can. There can only be one king in the original chess rules. That is my understanding of it however there may be other opinions. The queen can only take the king if she is involved in pressing the king into check-mate and has a clear line of attack. If you have google, i found a website called www.conservativebookstore.com/chess/grules.htm
    outlines the general rules for chess.
