A large number of users are involved in handling DBMS therefore; there are many risks which are involved in using DBMS. The first disadvantage of using DBMS is the issues of confidentiality, privacy and security. Secondly, it raises issues regarding the data quality and data integrity. Thirdly, because of DBMS enterprise vulnerability can be higher. Moreover, DBMS systems are developed in consideration to the needs of the company therefore, huge costs are incurred to use DBMS.
