The density of population of Lincolnshire is 143 persons per square kilometre. Lincolnshire is predominantly an agricultural county. The main regions into which the county is divided are the Lincolnshire Fens, the Lincolnshire Wolds, the Humber Estuary and the North Sea coast around Grimsby and Scunthorpe.
