I am always very regular. However on April 14th I had a normal period. Then on April 27th, I had light pink and brown spotting for 3 days with cramping. On May 12th I had brown discharge for 3 days.

The history which you are giving indicates that you are suffering from polymenorrhea. This is a condition in which cycle length is less than 22 days. The normal cycle length range is 26-32 days. Above or below this range This is due to short secretary phase and progesterone deficiency. Can be treated by taking progesterone in the second half of the cycle.
