Is It Best Practice To Have One Or Two Dwarf Siberian Hamsters?
We just purchased a hamster and were wondering if it is best practice to have one or two for socialization and getting them accustom to being held.

Siberian hamsters don't require company, which is just as well, as they'd fight! It's a miracle that they manage to breed (!) in my opinion, so stick with just the one, and don't worry, s/he will be perfectly happy :-)

Yes you are very right, having two Dwarf Siberian Hamsters is better than keeping only one. They would be better off living together and also adapt to environment quickly.

You should try having one first then if you think you can handle it go to two.But dont put them together for a while keep them in separate cages and everyday let them together and if they do ok then they can be in one cage together.
