    My Dog Is In Heat And Her Privates Are Very Puffy Is There Anything To Do, Bath Or Ointment?

    There is nothing you can do ,It has to run it course.That's what happens when they are in heat.

      Jayann is correct. There is nothing that can be done except keeping her away from male dogs. That is, if you do not want her to become pregnant. It is amazing that dogs can smell females in heat for miles and they just go crazy trying to get to her. The smell comes from the symptoms you describe and is all natural. It will soon go away and all will be peaceful in the neighborhood once again.
