    The responsibilities of director admissions in a university include that according to the policies developed by the board of governors, he/she will have to coordinate the entire admission program of the university. Other tasks include providing admission counseling and also to review some of the exceptional cases in the admission process. His/her task is to also communicate the policies of the school with the employees of other universities so that there are no confusions when there are any transfer cases. The person also ha to evaluate the course that are offered by other universities and determine whether that his/her university is also offering an equivalent course or not. All the printed material related to the admissions goes through him/her as well. At times the duty may also include attendance in the committee meetings of the board.
