What Are The Physical Limitations For A Person With Down's Syndrome?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Depends on each individuals health history.  My 18yr old son has Downs and he has no physical limitations per se, he does walk with a slight limp due to tendon tightness so he does not enjoy running alot.  He is very active and does everything physical that he wants to do.  Loves basketball, riding his bike, jumping on his trampoline, walking on treadmill, etc.  My son has had heart surgery (at 4 months old) and he is not on any cardiac meds and has no ill effects from the cardiac issue.
