How Does Temperature Affect Air Pressure And How Can This Effect Weather Patterns?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Temperature heats the ground and water, like lakes and streams and is released into the atmosphere.   The higher you go, the colder it get, look at mountain climbers.  When the air reaches outer layer in atmosphere, will cause cooling and the steam from the evaporated water will convert back into water and cause rain.  If there are strong winds, this will also affect temperature as if wind from north, like a cold front, will cause temp. To drop, or winds from south, heated air, can cause higher temperatures.  When we get warm fronts, or winds from the south, snow melts but if it hits a cold front, then the temperature will drop causing it to snow
