I Tried To Plant Sweet Pea Seeds. They Came Up And Now They Are Dying. What Happened?

I have a fruit/vegetable garden in my back yard. I planted a sweet pea seed and it came up, but it started dying. I bought plant food, and watered it with liquid plant food. I also had planted other plants at the same time and they are doing fine. I still have the pea plant in the garden and it isn't doing very good. I just don't know what happened.

Sweetpeas like cooler soil and that's probably the problem.  They can take full sun but prefer part shade, rich soil (enhance with manure or compost), and keep the soil moist, never let it dry out.

If you live where the following apply:

hot summer/mild winter:  plant in late fall and continue into spring

cool summer/mild winter: Plant mid to late spring

You need a little more water, with a vitamin or mineral feeding in that water that you want to feed. You desperately need water all the time for an animal, and a vegetable. Hope this helps.

It most likely needed more water. Make sure there are no weeds around it because they suck up the water that the plant needs. It could also be that it is not getting enough sun or warmth. Certain plants need a lot of sun and maybe this one does!
