The latest Doom game for the PC is known as 'Doom 3' and it is one of the best PC shooting games available today. Doom has been a firm favourite with thousands of computer gamers since it was originally released and it doesn't look as if it will be replaced any time soon.
Doom 3 however is not a carry on from the rest of the Doom series; it is only a newer version of the first Doom game apparently with expert graphics and a completely new game engine. As well as being available on the PC, Doom 3 is also available for the XBOX 360 too.
Doom is a sci-fi horror game and it is only available to older gamers due to the nature of it. As well as being a popular shooting game, Doom has also been turned into a blockbuster film which millions of people went to see.
