      Kittens are normally weaned at about 6 weeks of age. You can put soft food out for them for a couple of days, by their water dish, and then switch it over to hard food after they start going to the bathroom.

      Until they eat solids, they don't go to with normal stools, it's runny and clear until then. This is also when you want to start taking them to the litter box several times a day, so they know where to go when they have to go. Hope this helps.
