Flirting is an art, an art that will help you attract the opposite sex towards you with a little bit ease. Some of the steps that you can follow are mentioned below:

Make an eye contact with the person you want to make flirt with, keep in mind that do not look in to his/her eyes for more than 3 seconds, over doing it will make you look like some desperate wannabe.

Once the eye contact is established, make sure you pass on a smile, *Do not get carried away with this*

After doing following the first two steps, gather some courage and try to initiate a conversation with that person. Simplest way is to introduce yourself with your name, and then as for theirs.

Once the conversation is initiated give that person your complete attention, laugh on their jokes (even if they are lame). Complementing the person won't hurt a bit; tell them that they look really nice.

If you fail miserably in the first two steps, try flirting with some one else. The first two steps are very important, also try to make out with the smile of the person, whether they are interested in you or not.

A lot of times people tell me that I am flirting because I talk to girls a lot. I never really notice it. So just talk and hang out with the person that you like. But don't make it obvious that you like the person.

The best way to flirt is to make eye contact with the person you like and mirror what they do, for example if they lean towards you across a table, you do the same. you can smile a lot and be interested in what they say, be a good listener and make them feel that they are very important - they will love it and you with practice will be an expert flirter!
