Heavy periods don't indicate pregnancy. Are having excessive blood for normal 2-7 days or heavy and prolong periods? Heavy and prolong periods can be due to following conditions.
- Absence of ovulation
- Miscarriage
- Change of birth control pills
- Thyroid gland problems
- Pituitary gland problems
- Uterine fibroids
- Endometrial hyperplasia
- Endometrial cancer
- Pelvic inflammatory disease
- Side effects of medicine
