My teacher says "there is 125% chance of getting a particular question". 100% means 1. How can probability be greater than 1?

Your teacher is probably exaggerating for some reason. It might be a good idea to ask the teacher what was meant by the statement. Sometimes, teachers are not aware how literally students take what is said in the classroom, especially when the concepts, English vocabulary, non-standard usage, or meaning in the context of popular culture are unfamiliar to the student.

Without knowing anything about the context of the statement, I'd say it might mean any of several things:
    - the question is almost certain to be answered correctly: It is a "gift"
    - credit for a good answer on the question can exceed the usual credit for a right answer
    - this is the teacher's usual way of expressing near-certainty.

Some people talk about "110%" effort when they mean "extraordinary" effort. Nobody can give more effort than they are capable of giving, but they can give more effort than they have ever given to date. This sort of exaggeration sometimes carries over into talk about other things, like "chance."

Probability can not be greater than 1. It is defined as the likelihood or chance that something is the case or will happen. But it could not be more than 1 for sure.
