In the story named as "Araby" and that story is written by James Joyce. That sotyr is about calf love. The small boy falls into love with a girl with whom he's unable to talk. He just has dreams to talk with her. She is the sister of a playmate. And she lives near to the house of that boy.

The small boy who is depicted as protagonist in the story falls in love with her. And he tends to think about her all the time. He daydreams about how to talk to his love. He is so occupied with her love that he lost his interest in studies. In fact he was in so much strong desire about his love that he can't think about anything else except his love. So he lost his interest in his studies. The image of his beloved accompanies him everywhere even when he opens books she appears on the pages of his books. That's why the small boy lost his interest in his studies. And that is the most interesting thing in the story.
