The difference between erosion and Weathering is obvious by only reading the definitions
wrgis.wr.usgs.govErosion: Erosion is displacement of solids (soil, mud, rock and other particles)
usually by the agents of currents such as, wind, water, or ice
Weathering: Weathering is the decomposition of rocks, soils and their minerals through direct contact with the Earth's atmosphere.

No offence, but Erics answer is not very good to be honest. A simpler answer would be that weathering is the decomposition of rocks without any motion being involved, whereas erosion involves the rocks being decomposed by other means, which include movement, e.g. Water, gravity etc.
