    Ferret Pees Like A Racing Horse, Why?

    Brutus pees a lot when out of cage when he is out he pees everywhere and same in cage he is blind but he knows way around my apt and his cage he just goes and goes he is about 6 years old vet examined him for enlarged spleen and tumors.

    Peeing can be a really territorial thing.  If he is peeing a lot but only outside of his cage he might just be trying to mark his area.  This could be true especially if he is blind.  Did you vet do a thorough blood panel on your ferret to rule out any problems with the kidneys?

      I have a ferret and I know how you feel...  I found out that most of the time it is because of the ferrets diet
