When Is It Safe For Pitbull Puppies To Stop Feeding On Teats And What Should I Feed Them?

Well we usually stop our puppies from teats when their teeth start to grow in and then we get them Purina Puppy Chow then later if your planning on selling them give the new owners a bag of their food they have been on and tell them to mix the new food they want to try half of that and then half of the food in the bag.

Puppies should be fully weaned at 6-8 weeks of age.  Introduce a high quality canned puppy food gruel at 4 weeks of age and dry food at 6 weeks of age.  These puppies will need to be on a diet formulated for puppies.  Weaning is also the time vaccinations need to begin.  Your veterinarian will discuss further puppy care topics.

At 4 week you can feed them solid food put hot water in the puppy food and let set until it gets soft. The puppy will still need the mother milk until 6-8 weeks of age. I feed my puppies puppy chow.
