I was wondering if you suspect someone in your family is HIV positive, but has not disclosed it to the family, is there a way to find out.

The only way you can find out if someone is HIV positive is by getting him/her tested for HIV as there are no clear symptoms of the disease. HIV is tested through a sample of the saliva or the blood.
