Can I Be Charged For A Repainting Fee After Only 10 Months?
I live in NJ and my landlord is charging me a repainting fee of over 400 dollars. We've lived here for 10 months and the apartment was repainted right before we moved in. It is stated in the lease that we must pay 2/3rds of $650. Is this even legal?

If it is written in the lease that you will pay 2/3rds of 650$ then you have to pay this and not more than that. Please check that it should also be mentioned in your agreement that after how much time the house will require repainting. If it is over than 10 months then you do not need to pay.
