Market economics is considered as the study of market economy and it deals with the realized social system which is based on the division of labor. In a market economy the prices of the products and services are determined by the free price system. Therefore, in market economics the function of the supply and demand is determined. It is totally opposite to planned economics and mixed economics. Study of supply and demand of a consumer product in a free economy is an example of market economics. It is very hard to find a totally market economy, however, US economy shows characteristics of market economy.
