Who Is Phil Spector And What Is He Accused?

Phil Spector is an American singer, song writer and producer, he pioneered the style called The Wall of Sound. In 2003, he was accused of the murder of Lana Clarkson.

He is accused of murdering her with a gun when she was trying to leave his home. His lawyers have argued that she put the gun in her mouth and shot herself.

Spector is out on five hundred thousand dollar bail. Bail seems to work particularly well for rich people doesn't it?

Spector suffers from bi-polar disorder and confessed to a British newspaper that he considered himself insane.

Spector is working his way through celebrity lawyers, but he is having trouble keeping one. Over three hundred jurors have been screened so far, finding someone who hasn't got a strong opinion about this is proving hard to find.

Despite his personal life, Spector's contribution to music remains.
