    Broadband, also sometimes known as 'wideband', is a term used to describe bandwidth frequencies. These frequencies are able to transmit a higher quantity of data at a faster speed than the narrowband frequencies.
    Usually associate with Internet usage, it is often assumed that broadband means high-speed and constant connection and is usually purchased on a monthly contractual basis.
    Broadband can transmit a variety of data sources at the same time, for example video and voice channels. It enables users to watch live transmissions and play real-time online games among many other facilities. It is normally provided by your internet service provider and can be installed by the user. It is usually best to shop around to find a package that is ideal for your needs.
