He's might just be one of the kinds that are shy and if so then he will take a while till he does. My auntie has a year and 2 month old pitbull who doesn't bark he just makes a lot of whimpering noises and is very playful

My boxer lab bullmasitff dont bark either i think its good she dont shes most probley the best dog ill ever have shes not voilent she has a very carm nature shes friendly with other dogs and people she play a lot at the moment shes teething so she like biting shoes but she'll soon grow out of it i can walk with her off the lead she knows all her comands she dont need bribing with treats either so think of it as a plus you dont have a noisey dog
