Why Is The Body Hot Whenever We Have A Fever?

    In humans, body temperature is set on 98.6 F because of being warm blooded animals. This temperature should be maintain by any means. Temperature control center in our bodies is hypothalamus which works like thermostat of refrigerator. During fever, this thermostat is disturbed due to bacterial or viral infection and result is increase in body temperature. Our body tries to reduce body temperature by shivering, increased heart rate and sweating.
