I Am Bi And I Don't Know How To Tell My Best Friend. Should I Tell Or Not?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

I think that you should just tell her and if she does not accept that you are Bi than maybe she just was not your friend for real. Maybe she was using you. I have a friend and she is Bi but I do not treat her any other way. I treat her the same as I used to, her name is Nikki. Well, hope you will use my advice.

I think you should tell your friend about it. How and when you are going to do it are the big questions you have to deal with since you want your friend to be accepting and understanding of what you will reveal. Mental and emotional preparedness of both parties is important.

Although being BI or gay is becoming common, it is still not easy if it concerns people close to us. That said, be considerate to your friend by setting the stage. I am inclined to think that your friend already has an inkling about your sexual tendency/preference.

Mental and emotional preparedness is not a guarantee of how your friend will react, but it will have a better chance of keeping your friendship.

    Good luck.
