The Anolis is a species of lizard that belongs to the family laguanidae and with approximately four hundred species, considered as one of the most species rich genus. Sometimes some scholars categorise some species of Anolis under the genus Norops, but it complicates the whole process of classification and which is why it couldn't make much ground.
The species is a very beautiful one some times when an artist or a painter looks at it he probably starts making his own interpretation of the species. The green Anolis has a light green colour and even a lay man find it quite attractive let alone an artist who is adroit at creating different impressions out of a simple thing and present it to the world in a manner that makes it interpretable in thousands other ways.
