What Is The Purpose Of Partitioning In C-Drive And Why?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

C drive is usually partitioned to keep or install the operating system in the separate drive. The other data files are kept at other drives such as E, F etc. The purpose of having these drives separately is that if your system corrupts, you will only format the C drive and the data in the other drives will not be formatted and will remain safe. The main purpose of partitioning C drive is to install the operating system and maintain it separately in the C drive.
