    The city of Lincoln lies to the east of England.  It is the main city of Lincolnshire. Lincolnshire is sited near east England. It is cocooned by Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire, East Riding of Yorkshire and Northamptonshire.

    The oceans currents keep the climate of Lincoln a little warm and protect it from the freezing temperatures of winter. The port of Lincoln has a pleasant Mediterranean climate. This temperature at this port remains one or two degrees warmer in winter and three to five degrees cooler in summer. It experiences rains mostly in winter season. The rainfall averages 488 mm or 19 inches.  The average maximum winter temperature of Port Lincoln is 15.6 C or 61 F.
