I have a 283 with the bottom end out and I want to rebuild it to transform it to a 383. I want some major horses.

I don't know where you live but in Georgia we have several locations for a place called pull a part you pay $1 go in to a very well organized junk yard and pull your own part heads are about $30 a few more bucks get you a warranty they have computers or a automated phone system to let you check and see if they have your type of vehicle on the lot.
