My cat's third eyelid has been showing for 6 days now. Took him to the vet as soon as I noticed it. The vet ran a CBC on him-came back fine. He's not sick. She also tested him for Feline Leukemia....this came back fine as well. She flushed his eye out, put an eye stain in it and sent me home with a topical ophthalmic ointment to put in his eye every morning and night. However, it is STILL showing. What is wrong with him?
This is the first time I've ever seen this in him and it happened only AFTER I had boarded him and my other cat at the vet for 6 days last week while I was on vacation. When I picked him up from the vet after vacation, his eye was this way. HELP!!
