My vehicle is over heating and wanted to know if the spark plug or ignition coil could do this. Thanks

It is more likely that you either have a radiator leak or the fluid levels in your radiator are low.

To check this (that is, the fluid levels) you just simply need to look under the bonnet and there should be a smallish, possibly plastic tank, that is used for overflow which you can top up with coolant.

You should be able to tell if there is a radiator leak after you have done this if you just leave your car overnight in a dry concrete space and check in the morning whether you have a wet spot under your car or not. If you do, you would need to get a mechanic to either repair or replace your radiator.
