Will A Cockatiel Take A Long Time To Lay Her Egg?

Answer Question

3 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Cockatiels will lay their eggs 7-10 days after a successful mating.  The female will lay 2-8 eggs, one every 48 hours or so.  The parents will need to nest on the eggs within 7 days of laying.  This site has some good information for breeding Cockatiels and hatching chicks:

You Will just have to give it time. It will lay them 7-10 days after breading.
Make sure that they don't get disturbed to much. When she has her eggs and gets disturbed then she probably won't incubate her eggs no more.
      Good luck
