Can I Be Evicted For Late Rent And The Landlord Not Give Me A 30day Notice?

I was sent an eviction letter dated JUNE 23 and said that I have to be out of the property by JULY 10th due to me cutting some hedge bushes down in front of my house that contained snakes and I lost my job I notified them of this and the property manager said she would work with us she would not take the rent because she says that we destroyed her property and I'm in Missippi LEland,MS and im renting from south delta regional housing, how would I get in touch with their home office?

An eviction notice in most states is not worth the paper it's written on. You have to be evicted by a judge. The landlord has to take it to the local court and you have to be served court appearance papers. But, it depends on the state, the judge at that time can give you as little as 24 hours to be out. But normally it is 30 day. The notice by the landlord originally is more like a request to avoid the whole fiasco. It can last a few months.

Well thanks for your answer but you are not right tenants have laws to protect them in situations like these and being generous I dont think so in case you didnt know south delta housing is a HUD public housing program and it was designed for families that actually could afford housing and in my case due to having a nervous break down!!!!!! I do believe that qualified me but thanks for your input but you were totally incorrect and no the landlord was not being generous check the facts before you answer someones question you never know who's asking them.

Sorry, but none payment of rent IS cause for eviction !   usually when served with eviction , most states will give you only 3 to 5 days to move.  i would say your landlord was being very generous.  you have broken you part of the lease agreement when you didn't pay your rent.
