Good news, you are eligible to work under the age of 16.

However there are certain terms which must be followed under the Children and Young Persons Act in the UK:

    Aged 13-14

School days: You can only work one hour before school and one our after. 2hrs in total.
School Holidays: Up to 5 hours a day, no more than 25 hours a week. 2 weeks of the holiday must remain work free.
    Saturdays: Up to five hours.
    Sunday: Up to two hours.

    Aged: 15-16
School days: You can only work one hour before school and one our after. 2hrs in total.
School Holidays: Up to eight hours a day, but no more than 35 hours in a week and for two weeks in the school holiday, you cannot work at all.
    Saturday: Up to Eight Hours
    Sunday: Up to two hours.

So, get hunting now for the right job for you and remember your rights. You could try and approach a recruitment agency who specialise in young employees.
