When Do Children Cry?

    Crying is one of the basic emotional responses that are instinctively known by man. A child is of course born crying and this crying signifies the distress he or she is in. It can indicate any factor that causes the child discomfort. It is its primary source of communication at so young a stage in life. They may cry when they are hungry, when their nappies are wet or soiled and this causes them discomfort. They may cry due to conditions such as excess heat or cold, due to injury or pain. In fact anything that causes a substantial amount of discomfort.

    Crying is something seen in adults as well. It can be a result of both physical and emotional stress. Ike laughter it is a very natural form of expressing the most basic emotions.
