Restoril is short acting benzodiazepene and is used is sleep inducer. It offers only 6-8 hours of sleep. One of the side effects of restoril is drug dependence. This can be solved by tapering of the dose by reducing the strength and increasing duration between dose.

Restoring belongs to the Benzodiazepine drug group. It is used to treat insomnia and mild anxiety. Withdrawal symptoms include insomnia, nausea, agitation, sweating, heart palpitations, possible panic attacks. You should NEVER stop taking a drug prescribed by a doctor. You need to be slowly weened off the drug to avoid withdrawal. Please consult your doctor for how to do this.
