Well a fuselage basically is an aircraft's foremost body portion which sustains the crew, passengers and at times even the cargo. In solo engine aircrafts it normally contains the engine, where as in quite a few amphibious aircrafts the solitary engine is placed on a pylon which is connected to the fuselage.

In a box truss structure, the structural elements replicate a bridge, with special importance given on using connected triangular elements. The aerodynamic outline is fulfilled by additional elements which are known as formers and stringers and is in the end covered by fabric and later is painted.

Nearly all aircrafts which were created initially used wood and wire trusses where as the box type structure is till date used in quite a few lightweight aircrafts.
