I happen to actually live close. The above places are all great, I know the zoo very well. It is rather small but has a great jungle habitat. The artwalk is fun, I have known many of the artists for a few years. Depending on the show, the playhouse is good too. There is a good museum in town too, the Bowers museum. Also a cenntinel heritage museum, but I have not been there. I highly suggest the gypsy den for a cappuccino and if your craving some great Bar-b-que, go to Burrell's BBQ and sit out on the lawn and have a pulled pork sandwich or whatever else. It is all great. Depending on where you are coming from, make sure you see the ocean too and we have some of the best sushi anywhere if that's your thing. Huntington Beach (surf city), Anaheim(Disneyland, The Pond, City walk), Buena Park (Knott's Berry Farm), Long Beach (Queen Mary, downtown, train to LA, one of the largest harbors in the world), Irvine Spectrum (IMAX), Orange circle all of these will be within easy travel from Santa Ana as well. You will have a great time, plenty to see and do. If you like some particular activity comment on my answer or give me a shout on my profile and I can tell you where.
