How Does Pneumonia Go With A Heart Attack?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

As in if you have pneumonia, why might you be more likely to suffer a heart attack?   How about lack of oxygen?   To be more specific, heart needs O2, but O2 intake is lessened via action of pneumonia.  BTW, this is not medical advice -- I am not a doctor.  Still I wouldn't want to run a race while I had a lung infection.

As the the reverse:  You have a heart attack and then get pneumonia.  I'd guess bad luck.
