Knitting a loom can be very easy, if understand the basic steps of knitting. People who do it regularly can knit at a faster rate. In order to knit a loom, firstly you should be able to anchor the yarn. After anchoring the yarn, you will have the warp the pegs in the form of the alphabet 'e' in a cursive manner. Go on wrapping around the following pegs. If you want a tighter stitch, you will have to wrap around the pegs thrice instead of doing it twice. The resulting fabric will be tightly knitted.

Now you can start knitting at the very first peg and go on knitting in a clockwise direction. Beneath the first layer of the wrapped yarn which is the first stitch out a hook. Now, lift the hook up and over the very topmost yarn on the same peg. Now you succeeded in making the first stitch. Now, carry this on in a clockwise manner.
