Can A Cats Be Bathed Regularly?

Cats groom themselves very well on daily basis which includes licking themselves meticulously taking sufficient time to complete the activity. So it is really a question whether they still need to be bathed.

There is variation in the recommendations given to cat owners about frequency of bath routine for cats. One view is that daily baths will not do any good to the animal, for others it should be a monthly affair. Trust your eyes to judge the necessity.

At times a bath is mandatory for health reasons in circumstances like the cat coming in contact with any chemicals and the like or the cat's misadventure playing digging and rolling in the mud wherein the cat may inadvertently poison herself while grooming. Moreover if a stray cat is periodically brought indoors then hygiene in the form of bath is the best thing to do for the well being of the cat as well as the owner though most cats do not cherish water or getting wet.
