I have aquired 4 new born kittens for the mother abandoned them. I have been giving them milk replacement They have bowel movements now and their eyes are open so i would like to know the proper way to clean them

That's what the mom does, but if there is no mom . They have a sphincter much like ours so the don't need a cleaning unless they have worms and all baby animals are born with worms. So leave it alone or you can get them too..

You can use a warm damp wash cloth. Make sure you dry them off well.
